Sven Gierlinger was hired as Northwell Health’s very first Chief Experience Officer. With his background at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, he adds a new perspective on how patient care can be translated into customer service. Darria Long Gillespie, MD, MBA, FACEP is a digital health executive and practicing emergency physician, and an expert on helping large organizations optimize the health of their populations while maximizing their return on investment. Dr. Long Gillespie is a national spokesperson for the American College of Emergency Physicians, and is frequently interviewed by national media, including CNBC, CNN, FOX News, The Doctors and The Dr. Oz Show.

Dr. Long Gillespie practices medicine as an emergency department physician. Uniquely positioned at the intersection of medicine, business and media, Dr. Long Gillespie has a deep understanding of what it takes to transform the way we think about - and act on - our health. Beyond her frequent appearances as a medical expert on national news and health programs, Dr. Long Gillespie has authored hundreds of articles for outlets including The Newborn Channel and KevinMD; and her syndicated column, “The Busy Woman’s Guide to Health…and Sanity," appears on The Huffington Post, MindBodyGreen and DoctorOz.com.

Dr. Long Gillespie earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and her MBA from Harvard Business School. After completing residency in Emergency Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine, she joined the faculty at Harvard Medical School where she worked in the ER at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.
